Future Tribes – Personal Exhibition in Sibiu

Future Tribes is my first solo exhibition in Sibiu, presented at HEARTFULLY by Fundatia Polisano.

The exhibition brings together a selection of drawings exploring mythology, ritual, identity, and imagined futures. Created in graphite and colored pencil, the works depict a world where humanity has evolved by reconnecting with nature, ancestral memory, and symbolic traditions. The figures inhabiting these drawings wear ritual masks and ceremonial garments, becoming fragments of a speculative future where technological progress and ancient wisdom coexist.

The exhibition is presented at HEARTFULLY, Romania's first charity art gallery, an inspiring initiative created by the Polisano Foundation in the historic center of Sibiu. More than an exhibition space, HEARTFULLY is a cultural project that connects contemporary art with healthcare, education, and community engagement. Through its charitable model, proceeds from donated artworks help fund life-saving cardiac surgeries and medical treatments for children supported by the foundation.

Earlier this year, I had the privilege of contributing two artworks to HEARTFULLY's permanent collection, supporting this meaningful initiative. I'm especially grateful to have the opportunity to collaborate with the team once again and present this exhibition in such a beautiful and inspiring space.

The opening reception brought together visitors, friends, and supporters for an evening of conversations around the works and the ideas behind them. It was a pleasure to share this project with everyone who joined us.

Future Tribes invites visitors into a contemporary mythology built through drawing, exploring identity, transformation, and the relationship between the past and the future through fragments of a civilization that has rediscovered balance through ritual, nature, and collective memory.

The exhibition is on view until August 6, 2026, at HEARTFULLY Gallery, 44–46, 9 Mai Street, Sibiu.

Alongside the original drawings presented in the exhibition, a small selection of archival Fine Art Giclée prints is also available for purchase.
