HEARTFULLY – The First Charity Art Gallery in Romania

I was honored to participate in the opening of HEARTFULLY, the first charity art gallery in Romania, an initiative launched by the Polisano Foundation in the historic center of Sibiu.

The gallery introduces an innovative model that brings together contemporary art, community engagement, education, and healthcare. Through a permanent collection of artworks donated by artists and collectors, HEARTFULLY raises funds for life-saving cardiac surgeries for children with congenital heart conditions.

For this inaugural exhibition, I donated two artworks, presented alongside works by artists from Romania, Switzerland, and the United States. All exhibited works are available for purchase, with proceeds directly supporting the Polisano Foundation medical programs for children.

Beyond its exhibition program, HEARTFULLY functions as a cultural and educational hub, hosting workshops, discussions, and community events focused on health, prevention, and wellbeing. The project represents a unique initiative within the Romanian cultural landscape, creating a direct connection between artistic practice and social impact.
